An international student must apply for a work permit to work in Taiwan. An international student is not permitted to work more than 20 hours per week, except during the winter and summer.

備注: 實習+工讀不得超過40小時(實習最多26小時,工讀則為14小時),且每日實習/工讀時數最多8小時,結束時間不得超過22:00。
Remark: Internship + part time work may not exceed 40 hours (maximum 26 hours for internship and 14 hours for part time work), The maximum hours of internship/part time work are 8 hours per day and the end time must not exceed 22:00.
An international student who works in Taiwan illegally will be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with the regulations.
A student who works without a valid work permit will be fined an amount between NTD 30,000 and NTD 150,000, and the person will immediately be ordered to leave Taiwan and will not be permitted to work in Taiwan in future. If the person then fails to leave Taiwan within the specified period, the national entry and exit administrative authority may enforce their departure and may hold the person in detention until they depart.

Students must take the initiative to inform the school of part time work information and provide part time work contract.
